Gender equity involves ensuring fairness and impartiality in the distribution of resources, opportunities, and rights among people of all genders. It acknowledges and addresses historical and structural inequalities that have marginalized women and non-binary individuals in various aspects of life. Gender equity goes beyond simple equality by recognizing and rectifying existing disparities to create a level playing field for everyone.

Promoting Pay Equity:


One crucial aspect of gender equity is addressing the gender pay gap, which refers to the disparity in earnings between men and women performing similar work. Despite progress, women, on average, continue to earn less than men in many industries and occupations. Closing the gender pay gap requires implementing policies that promote transparency in pay practices, providing equal pay for equal work, and challenging gender-based stereotypes and biases in the workplace.

Enhancing Representation in Leadership:
